This paddle looks amazing! I especially love the gold detail on the face. I’m still getting used to the pop, so some of my drives end up going a bit high or out, but my dinks have definitely improved—they’re more controlled and precise. The face has some grit, but it’s not super gritty. Overall, it’s a solid paddle for the price.
Pretty solid paddle with good control. But the handle needs a overgrip, you might feel losing the grip of paddle when you swing faster.
great paddle for a good priCe
As a DUPR 4.75 player, I’ve tried dozens of paddles over the years, and the Cyclotron Gold Standard lives up to its name. This paddle is premium in every way — from its materials to its on-court performance.
At 7.7 oz, it’s lightweight yet delivers a perfect balance of power and control. I’m able to rip powerful serves and baseline drives, but also comfortably dink, slice, and drop with precision at the kitchen. The huge sweet spot is especially impressive for a skinny hybrid shape — forgiving and responsive.
The thermoformed construction adds durability, and the combination of T700 carbon fiber + titanium-coated polyester face delivers an ideal blend of plush and pop. It’s got a satisfying feel — crisp on volleys and counters, yet grippy enough to generate tons of spin.
Approved by USAPA, this paddle is ready for tournaments and absolutely holds its own against paddles in the $250+ range. It looks sharp and plays even better. Whether you're an intermediate or advanced player, I highly recommend the Gold Standard — it truly elevates your game.
You won’t be disappointed.
Nice touch, solid, when thrown at opponents it doesn’t break.
