This is a solid preforming beginner or entry level paddle, the paddle looks and feels very well made and is pretty lightweight, the paddle has a decent balance of power and control, the sweet spot does seem small, but it is there, the paddle also can put a fairly decent spin on the ball, although I found it a little difficult to do, the handle feels good in the hand and has good grip to it as well, I did notice when playing that the paddle has more of a wrist vibration than I prefer, other than that though I am happy with the overall quality and performance of this paddle, pretty good value for the price in my opinion.
I was able to get out and play a little pickleball with this paddle that I received today. I must say it's a very nice paddle. It's a bit lighter than some of the others I have. The red and black carbon fiber weave is super nice looking too. The red grip provided with the paddle is nice and tacky with a soft feel. Very similar to the higher end paddles on the market.
I'd give the paddle an all-around 8.5 when it comes to playability. It has nice feel, and is crisp on contact. The sweet spot isn't quite as large as my Joola, but for the price it's excellent. Off center shots are pretty forgiving and it has nice touch. Power wise, I'd give it a 7. Control a 9.
Overall, this is a very nice paddle for the intermediate to advanced player looking to upgrade to a premium quality paddle. For the price it's an excellent investment. 5 stars.
I have been using their titanium paddle and it has been my go to paddle. The new Kevlar is something I bought as my backup paddle and i definitely liked this one too. It has same performance as the Titanium one and spin is great. Paddle feels very light and I ended up adding few weights to fit my use. I got more compliments on this Kevlar one though for it's striking design. If you looking for a lighter paddle, you should try this. Grit is very visible, can feel it and definitely looms like a premium one. The packing is very basic, so dont feel that it will perform basic. No extra accessories are included with the paddle other than the neoprene cover. I would like to see if they will come up with a shorter handle.
I play Pickleball 1 to 2 times a week. And over time I have tried about 7 or 8 paddles. This is one of my top two. It feels good and balanced in my hand. The surface is slightly grainy and allows me to get a good spin on the ball and gives me good control. It's relatively lightweight. It has a good size sweet spot. I may be dreaming but it seems like it makes a little less of a "thwack" sound than most paddles. I keep trying new paddles and keeping the ones I like best and this is a keeper. I also like that it says it's a regulation paddle, in case I play in a tournament where that matters.

First of all, very impressed with the striking design. this paddle stands out. and no matter where you are . if you're paddle is held up for open play you will see it! It's not just beautiful but useful too.
Second, paddle feels very good in hand. the grit on the surface is great, gives lots of spin. It's light enough, so easy to handle, especially if you have tennis elbow ( like me) Doesn't give you any trouble. It is a combination of control and power, so, better for people transitioning from beginner to intermediate. Or with no distinctive style of play , if you do a bit of everything, not just banging or dinking. I'm going to put an extra overgpip on my handle, as i like it cushiony. softer and slightly thinker. But i do it with every paddle i own, so, not a design flow, just gives you more choices. Overall a very good, solid paddle, especially at this price. If you're not ready to spend 200-300 for a boring looking well known paddle, this might be great choice for you.

I'm by no means a professional player but this paddle did pretty good. I played a woman that was a champion player and she kicked my butt. She tried the paddle and she said it was a nice paddle. It's light and didn't slip in her hand. Then she proceeded to kick my butt using my own paddle against me.
If its good enough for her then Ill keep practicing a d come back one day for a rematch.

Okay, I only requested this because I’ve never heard of this brand before—and it was red, lol.
Most of my paddles are from Joola (I think I’ve tried almost all their models), and I’ve been satisfied with them. But I don’t mind trying something new once in a while.
The elongated handle is definitely my favorite handle, by the way. I usually prefer 14mm paddles for ease of handling for me, but this 16mm surprisingly easy to handle —it didn’t feel bulky and offered a nice balance of control and power. I just did a quick test rally, so I can’t speak for game performance yet, but so far, it feels really solid. If you already have some experience in pickleball and started off with cheaper paddles, this could be a great next step without spending over $200. I can't speak to the durability yet, since this is my first paddle from Redwood, but if it holds up over time, it’s a pretty good deal when you consider the overall quality vs. price.
