ZOOM 001

After putting the CYCLOTRON ZOOM001 (16.5” elongated, 16mm core, CFC surface) through real court sessions, this paddle stands out for its quality construction, balanced weight, and noticeable game improvement potential.

🏗️ Quality & Build

The overall build quality feels solid and durable. The CFC (Carbon Fiber Composite) surface provides a crisp, consistent response on contact, and the 16mm core adds stability without feeling bulky. Edge finishing is clean, and it comes with a protective paddle cover — a nice touch that extends longevity.

This paddle doesn’t feel cheap or entry-level. It has a confident, well-built feel that inspires trust during competitive play.

🎯 Performance & Game Improvement

The 16.5” elongated shape gives you extra reach — and you absolutely notice it at the kitchen line. Defensive saves, stretched volleys, and overheads feel more controlled.

The 16mm core offers an ideal balance:

Enough pop for drives and put-aways

Enough control for resets and dinks

Spin generation is strong thanks to the textured CFC surface. If you're working on improving your third-shot drops, roll volleys, or topspin drives, this paddle supports skill development very well.

For intermediate players especially, this paddle can contribute to real game improvement by adding consistency and confidence.

✋ Grip & Comfort

The 5.5” grip length is comfortable and secure, allowing for solid hand positioning and even room for slight two-handed backhand adjustments. The grip texture helps prevent slipping during long rallies, reducing hand fatigue.

It feels natural in the hand — not too thick, not too thin — making it suitable for most players.

⚖️ Weight & Balance

The paddle feels well-balanced, not overly head-heavy. That balance allows for:

Quick reactions at the net

Controlled swing speed

Stable contact during drives

It moves fast in hand battles but still delivers enough mass behind the ball for power shots.

💰 Value for Money

Considering the materials, performance, included paddle cover, and overall feel, this paddle offers excellent value for money. It performs closer to higher-tier paddles while staying in a more accessible price range.

You’re getting quality construction, spin capability, and balanced playability without stepping into premium pro-level pricing.

🎉 Fun Factor

Most importantly — it’s fun to play with. The combination of pop, spin, and control makes every rally engaging. Whether you're drilling, playing rec matches, or competing seriously, this paddle keeps the game exciting and responsive.

Item arrives in protected in a foam pouch inside its own box. There is a head cover, and the handle.it wrapped in plastic.

Size of the paddle is almost identical to my other big brand, with matching width and length. Slightly different shape at handle.

Handle is slightly larger, which is good for me.

Weight is exactly the same at 235g, with face material feeling similar.

Seemed easier to control dinks than my previous paddle. Which is good as an advanced novice

I picked up the Cyclotron ZOOM001 recently and I am honestly impressed. The handle is super comfortable. Since it is 5.5 inches long, I have plenty of room for a two-handed backhand without feeling cramped.
The paddle has a nice "pop" to it thanks to the 16mm core. It is still soft enough to control the ball at the kitchen line. The surface texture is gritty enough to put some good spin on the ball as well.
It was also a nice bonus that it came with its own cover so I didn't have to buy one separately. Overall, this feels like a high-quality paddle and I am having a blast playing with it.

I have not had a chance to use this paddle on the court yet, but my first impression is very positive. The paddle feels really nice in hand, with a solid, well-balanced weight and a comfortable grip. The elongated shape and 16mm thickness give it a substantial feel that inspires confidence even before play.

I also really appreciate that it comes with a paddle cover. The case feels well made and is a nice added value, especially for protecting the paddle during transport or storage.

From a value standpoint, this paddle seems like a good buy based on build quality and included accessories. Assuming it performs as well as it feels, it looks like a solid option for anyone looking to upgrade or try an elongated pickleball paddle.

This was a gift for a person who had a Walmart $14 paddle. Ok, I don't know that the person's original paddle cost $14, but it was pretty cheap. This paddle is a great improvement. My friend found the grip and weight of the paddle to be very comfortable. She said she is certain her game has improved. I think having a better paddle helped her confidence. I think it probably also helped her not be self-conscious that her equipment shouted "beginner" to everyone else.

This is a very nice pickleball paddle. The face is nice and big (taller than what you see on cheap paddles), it is light weight, and the face is nice and grippy if you like to use spin. The head is thicker than cheaper paddles, so better durability. Even with the larger size, the paddle is lighter than introductory paddles. Their GEN3 polypropylene core deliver great power. Worth the extra cost if you are serious about pickleball. USAPA approved and labeled. It's a great value at this price, highly recommend!

The included paddle cover adds practical protection when you transport or store the paddle, and it keeps the surface safe from scuffs and dust.

Quality wise the construction feels durable, the edge guard is snug, the core does not flex oddly under normal impact, and there is no cheap rattling or mismatch between materials.
